This is a beautifully produced, limited edition, two-part corporate document to announce one of the largest commercial development programmes in London’s history.

Land Securities is Europe’s largest property company, with assets worth £7 billion. In central London, it plans to build major office and mixed-use developments on prime sites at a rate of one a year up until 2010.

Held in a slip case, these two ‘books’ (designed by Browns/London) introduce Land Securities’ development arm to potential partners and backers, and then go into detail about each individual London project.

While not abandoning ‘property-speak’ completely, the copy had to convey the ethos of Land Securities in a fresh, confident tone of voice. The key themes of sustainability, public spaces and community involvement are reinforced in book two, in the detailed descriptions of each development project.
